Saona Island lies off the southeastern tip of the Dominican Republic. Part of the East National Park, it's known for mangroves and coral reefs and palm-fringed beaches like Palmilla Beach. The island’s shallow waters are home to starfish. Mano Juan is a laid-back fishing village near Flamingo Lagoon, with colorful shacks and a turtle sanctuary.

 

Who is it suitable for?

An individual, couple or a family looking to spend a wonderful day at the beach and enjoy snorkeling around the island

 

Summary of the itinerary: 

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, followed by a 50+ mins drive (depending on the hotel) to the designated marina where you will board a Catamaran, accompanied by one of our concierge scuba masters.

 

On the way to the island we will stop at the famous natural swimming pool, where you ll be able to see our Dominican exotic starfish.

On the island, enjoy the day exploring and walking along the beach, relaxing in the white sand and swimming in the clear blue waters. Additionally, enjoy our traditional Dominican buffet.
 

Finally, you will board a speed boat back to the mainland from which you could head back to the hotel.
